This is a small collection of macro shots I made in Arizona. They nearly made it in colour (and they are seductive in colour), but somehow the black and white seemed more focused, less distracting in this format.

These are beautiful and dreamy in black and white.
thanks I’m glad you like them!
I do like the format and agree with you. The photos of the Ameria’s cup boats were almost all foggy grey but to complete them in black and white made a better statement.
thanks Carla – I’m still undecided to be honest!
Beautiful! I agree that the black and white is less distracting, but I’d love to see the color, too, slowly come to life.
yes, I may post some in colour too I think. Some of them deserve to be big! Thanks!
They seem more otherworldly in B&W. Beautiful.
thanks Richard!
I’d love to see them in colour, too!
These are very delicate presented this way. The intimate desert.
yep I will post some in colour too at some point!
Sensitive and very interesting.
thanks Elena I’m glad you thought so
Nicely choreographed, with a very appealing soft contrast. Not that easy to absorb such subtleties in the big places of the desert.
